Guro
Guy Chase has 20 years of experience in the martial arts and holds many certifications in
Mande Muda Pencak Silat, Kali Escrima, Jeet Kune Do, a First Bronze/Silver Initatuer
Diploma from the Savate Federation of France, 1st Dan in Judo, Wah Lum Kung Fu and Yang
Tai Chi Chuan. Mr. Chase has personally trained under Dan Inosanto, Ted Lucay-Lucay,
Herman Suwanda, Dr. Lee Tom Tan and the "Great" Karl Gotch to name a few. Guy Chase is a Guro under Pendekar Herman Suwanda who is recognized by the Indonesian goverment as a master of Mande Muda Pencak Silat. |

| SILAT
is a term that covers a whole range of martial arts from Southeast Asia and Indonesia.
Each island, even each town might have its own style of Silat. Born in times of warfare and
piracy, Silat has evolved to an effcient and deadly form of martial art. Cloaked in
secrecy for the most of the 20th century, the various forms of Silat are now being
revealed. Mande Muda is notable for its unusual forms of ground fighting. |
